Withering Winehouse

Soul singer Amy Winehouse is now famous for her drug use and violent attacks. Was known before for her eclectic mix of music genres but has now converted into a walking, disastrous skeleton.

Ever since her secret marriage to Blake, the tables have turned. He is definitely a bad influence on her which has led drug addiction. She is now having violent attacks with innocent strangers and even her very own body guard. We all know that she is going through a rough time, but doesn’t need to take it out on everyone else.
Her drug addiction is damaging her star-studded image. Now I can’t even recognize her anymore, she is now a grandma who walks the streets of London in the middle of the night half naked carrying a box of ice lollies.

I can’t see how drugs will help her solve her husband’s case in court; it’s just making things worse for her, damaging her career in the process. I’m highly disappointed that such a gifted voice like hers is going to waste; so many people would love to be in her position, selling records, living the lifestyle of a musician. It’s like she’s telling God that she doesn’t appreciate her soulful singing voice that has been given to her.

The life in the fast line can be stressful especially when you are under pressure of having a good image, the best thing is if you are stressed, take a break and cruise the world. She needs to take a break from it and should try and think things through with the help of her friends and family.
Celebrities such as her along with Britney Spears and Kate Moss are glorified for their rebellious lifestyle. We seem to enjoy watching celebrities that go from sweet, innocent role models to the world watching them as they crumble into a mentally ill state which can lead to suicidal.
Amy is creating mockery with her body to these who are in poverty with lack of malnutrition, she should be grateful that she has a good life with loved ones around her, but instead she is throwing her life away. Someone needs to talk some sense into her and should stop damaging her body. I wouldn’t be surprised to see on the news that Winehouse is dead by the end of the year.

Despite the downfalls, her iconic beehive was featured in Karl Lagerfield pre-fall 2008 collection at London Fashion Week with models wearing Amy-style clothing. I would be honored if my signature style was featured at a fashion show. Lagerfield said in The Sun news article that “She is a beautiful, gifted artist. And I very much like her hairdo. I took it as an inspiration.”
It’s just shocking to see a talented Grammy singer, who has been described by The Times as "earthy, warm, lived-in and astonishingly versatile" I hope that she can survive this trauma as a human being rather than a celebrity.
